Something's Coming!

  1. A friend of mine shared a coupon code for ordering the KIDS version (recommended for Kindergarten thru 4th grade) of National Geographic for $8. That's for a full year subscription. Basically, it's on sale for $12 & the coupon code gets you another $4 off. Additionally, you can select Rochester Elementary School to receive 5% of your purchase. The coupon code is NATGEOK4 & the link is http://deals.mamapedia.com/deals/national-geographic-kids-one-year-subscription?ref_data=national-geographic-kids-one-year-subscription&ref_id=432877&ref_type=bw3

I thought that $8 was a cheap way to have some new reading material come in the mail from time to time. Shaling loves pictures of animals as well, so perhaps this will help with improving her English-reading skills.

Disclaimer: When I completed my checkout, I got a pop-up message indicating that if 3 of my friends ordered thru that link, I would actually get my purchase for free. I am not posting the link for that reason, and in fact don't mind paying the $8, especially if Rochester Elementary School gets a few cents from that purchase. I had already planned to share the coupon code because I think it's a great (& cheap!) way to encourage reading. I just didn't want anyone to think I was spamming or trying to hide that fact.
