PTO Meeting Minutes 3/12/13

1. Welcome

1. Those in attendance: Mr. Lezon, Mrs. Sanders, Theresa Gegen, Sally Cray, Heather Archey, Angi Resch, Amy Talkington, Christy Crites, George Backstein
2. Approval of minutes from last month’s meeting

2. Principal’s Report

1. ISAT’s are over!!!
2. Track has started---big group
3. Band concert rescheduled for 3/19
4. March 21 Jesse White will be doing a presentation on bike and seat belt safety for each grade level in the morning, a tornado drill will occur in the afternoon
5. Spring Break is March 25-29

3. Treasurer’s Report

1. Doing well considering the economy  with $31K in bank
2. FPS money will go to playground payment, which will be $20K this spring
3. Tech Funds----Julie Tinder is trying a Juno projector
4. Incentive money for grade levels, special ed. & specials will be dropped from $240 to $200 to allow for more money to be spent elsewhere or put towards playground

4. Box Tops for Education

1. April check will be $1,511.70, $60 of which will be given to Good Shepherd for their contribution of box tops

5. ISAT Appreciation

1. Received many thank you notes from teachers

8. B. PTO will discuss at April meeting what will be done
